Siemens Ltd. requires Software Developers & System Testers

Looking for professionals with an Engineering degree in Electrical / Electronics and Communication / Computer Science / Information Technology / Instrumentation and Control or MCA with 2-5 years of relevant xperience for the follwoing positions. All positions are based in Gurgaon and you may be required to work overseas for short / long term duration.

• Software Developer [Job Code: 01-SD-GGN]
  ESSENTIAL:
  
  
  • Object Oriented concepts and XML
  • Core Java (including RMI, Sockets, Multi-threading, Real-Time / Distributed programming)
  • Knowledge of Networking (TCP / IP and UDP)
  • Protocol development experience and SNMP protocol
  • Development Tools (Eclipse Ant, Apache, Tomcat, Junit)
  Add-on preferred
  
  
  • Component -based architecture, Design Patterns, OOAD, UML
  • Basic Knowledge of tools (DOORS, Clear Case)
  • Sun Cerified Java Professional
  • Knowledge and Experience in SWINGS
• System Tester [Job Code: 02-ST-GGN]:
  Essential:
• Engineering and Commissioning of DCS
• Experience in FAT / SAT
• Good Troubleshooting skills
• Good knowledge of third party protocols such as Modbus, OPC, IEC, DNP
• Add-on Preferred
• DCS Software testing
• ISTQB / CSTE certification

The following will be an added advantage:

• Knowledge of Power generation domain   in the area of plant autimation and control systems.
