Walk-In Interviews Tata Consultancy Services at PUNE on 26th September, 2009 (Saturday),

All position will be based at solutions / delivery centers at TCS PUNE.
Currently looking for Team Members / Team Leaders / Project Leaders / Project Managers with 3-7 years of relevant IT experience.

Date of Walk-in : 26th September, 2009 (Saturday) (Registration Time: 09:00 AM to 12:00 PM )

Skills:

1. IT Infrastructure Services (IT IS) :
   Windows Administration
   – Knowledge of Windows 2000/20003/2008 Server OS, Networking (DNS, DHCP), MS Exchange (preferably hands-on experience), Hyper V, Active Directory management using UI as well as the command line tools
   – Knowledge of Windows Active Directory, new technologies included with Windows Server 2008 Active Directory like RODC, FGPP, Password Policies, PKI, Hyper-V
   – Ability to multi-task and switch between technical and testing tasks for better alignment of package and release testing activities
2. SQL DBA
   – Log Shipping Concept and overview of its architecture
   – Log Shipping Monitoring
   – Database backup and Restore / types of backups and options
   – DB Monitor / Cubes Processing monitoring
   – Clustering services and types of clustering's
3. Microsoft Technology (MS)
   C++ on VX Works / other RTOS
   – Experience on VX Works and knowledge on C++ / C
4. Business Intelligence (BI)
   ETL Developer
   – Development experience in Informatica and Teradata
5. Web Technology
   Java/J2EE Developer
   – Servlets, JSP, WebSphere

Eligibility:

• Full Time Graduates / Post Graduates in: BE / BTech / ME / MTech / MSc / MCA / MCM / MS / CA / ICWA / MBA PGDIT (2 years full time & approved by AICTE)

Special consideration will be given to B.Sc. / BCA / Diploma holders with 3 years of relevant functional / technical experience.

• Consistent academic records Class X onwards (Minimum 50%)
• Candidates interviewed by us in the last 6 months are not eligible
• Candidates with more than 2 years break in their academic / professional career will not be considered
